The following terms and conditions apply to all wholesale customer orders from Matt and Nat Bakery Group.

Setting up account and placing orders

Wholesale customers may contact us to set up an account and terms with us via phone and/or email. Terms will be set based on credit approval by completing our credit application which can be provided by our team upon request.

When terms are approved, orders may be placed via phone, email, and/or our myonlinebakery.com website.

If there are any emergencies with your orders that occur outside of our normal office hours (7:30AM-5PM), please contact our emergency line at (562) 498-2253 ext. 601.

Any wholesale customer without approved credit terms, may purchase items via COD. Cash, check, ACH, bank wire, or credit card payments are all accepted. Payments must be paid in full by delivery date.

Customer Terms

By setting up an account and placing an order with us you have agreed to read , understand, and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions about these terms, please email us at orders@mattandnatbakery.com.

A contract between the customer and Matt and Nat Bakery Group for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been delivered. Prices and availability of goods is subject to change without notice.

Delivery

Orders are currently dispatched by our CNG distribution fleet Monday through Saturday morning for LA/OC customer and Monday through Friday for San Diego customers. Wholesale deliveries occur between 1AM and 7AM. We are closed on Sundays.

Customers that would like to specify a more exact delivery window or request a day time delivery will be subject to a delivery fee that is relative to the location of the account and the time of delivery that is requested.

FOR LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTY CUSTOMERS:

Orders must be received by 2PM the day prior to delivery, in order to leave time to freshly produce your baked goods. For Monday morning delivery, orders must be received by 12PM the preceding Saturday. Some product lines may require a longer lead time. Please contact our order management team, as to which items may require additional time to produce. All of our perishable goods are sent to you in secure packaging that meets our high standards for food safety.

Delivery details need to be discussed when placing your order to ensure our drivers are able to deliver within the set time frame. Please specify “Signature Optional” if you may be out when your package arrives and leave detailed instructions of where it should be left. Our drivers take pictures of all deliveries to ensure timeliness and that the product arrives to you complete and undamaged.

Please let us know as soon as possible if your order has not arrived within the delivery time frame.

Please note that we do not deliver on Sundays or on the set US holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Our minimum order quantity is $75 per drop. We have $5.00 delivery – drop fee for all orders shipped (same time, same location) during our regular dark delivery hours of 1AM to 7AM. For orders less than our minimum order quantity of $75, the drop fee is $25.

We will continue to ship our fresh Baked Products six days a week from Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. Cancellation

FOR ALL CUSTOMERS:

Due to the perishable nature of our products, Matt and Nat Bakery Group will accept cancelled orders with a notification submitted twenty-four hours prior to the bakery’s 2PM cut off time for orders. Cancellations are not accepted on Sundays when the office is closed. We will not be able to process cancellations that are requested less than (24) twenty-four hours prior to delivery.

If you would like to request an order cancellation:

  • We require your name, order reference number, and the date of delivery when placing an order.
  • You will receive written confirmation of the cancellation of your order within (24) twenty-four hours, excluding weekends and holidays when you will receive confirmation on the following working day.
  • If you placed your order through myonlinebakery.com, you are responsible for any cancellations or adjustments. Please call the wholesale office to cancel online orders.
  • For customers with standing orders, it is your responsibility to notify us if your facility will be closed (24) twenty-four hours in advance of your order cut-off time. If we are not notified for a facility closure in advance, your order will still be produced, delivered, and invoiced.

Returns/Refund Policy

If for any reason you are not happy with your Matt and Nat Bakery products, please contact our order management team to discuss your concerns. Returns that result in refunds must receive approval from Matt and Nat Bakery management before they are processed by our team. Approved returns will be refunded within five business days.

For any damages to the products, please contact our order management team immediately. We will require pictures of the damaged products and any documentation received with the product. All returns and refunds to damaged goods, require Matt and Nat Bakery management approval.

The client assumes ALL liability and responsibility for the condition of the products once they leave our possession. Deliveries are non-refundable.

Customs Cakes Policy

The client agrees to specify the flavors, design, color scheme, number of servings/sizes of the cake, and any writing required upon placement of the order. Once the order is picked up or delivered, the product is accepted “as is” and no refunds will be issued unless otherwise approved by management.

Due to the perishable nature of our products Matt and Nat Bakery Group, will accept cancellation of custom cake orders provided that we receive a (48) forty-eight-hour notification. Cancellation will not be allowed if your order is placed less than (24) twenty-four hours prior to your delivery date.

For any tiered cakes, any order change, such as of colors, sizes, designs, servings, and/or flavors, a (48) forty- eight-hour notification is required.

One tier cakes are delivered on our regular nightly delivery schedules. If a cake needs to be delivered outside that regular nightly delivery window, an additional delivery charged will be quoted based on distance and time of delivery. Delivery charges are based upon delivery distance and the requested time of delivery.

We strive to deliver our custom cakes within a (2) two-hour window of the target time to account for traffic and other events outside of our control.

We reserve the right to use creative judgment or make adjustments when we feel it is necessary to maintain the quality and workmanship of our designs while also preserving the interpretation of your design. While we make every attempt to provide exactly what you have requested, the creation of a specialty cake is an art and may be subject to slight variations. To the extent that one of the specified cake variables is incorrect, our liability is limited to a potential refund that is not greater than the proportional value of the component option represented in the price.

You are responsible for providing a secure/sturdy table or cake stand at the site of delivery. We recommend a room temperature of 75 degrees or below when staging or serving our custom cakes. We are not responsible for cakes placed outdoors that become subject to the elements.

Please keep in mind that we are creating custom baked goods. It is very important to ask as many questions necessary to ensure that what is agreed upon is understood. No question or concern is trivial to us. Cakes are handmade works of art. We will do our best to provide you the design you have envisioned to the very best of our abilities.

Additional Important Information We Want to Share

All goods will be photographed, and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion, without compensation to you, to take and use our own photos of your cake(s) for all marketing social media and promotional purposes.

Our products may contain or come in contact with dairy or dairy products, wheat, nuts, soy, tree nuts, eggs, gluten / wheat flour on shared equipment other allergens. While we take great care cleaning, we do use shared equipment and cannot guarantee that there  will not be cross-contamination of certain allergens  and ingredients. You agree to notify your guests of this risk.

This disclaimer for orders placed through email or over the phone serves as acceptance of the terms and conditions in lieu of signing an agreement before placing an order. Once said order is processed, the client agrees to the terms and conditions set forth on this page.

The client assumes ALL liability and responsibility for the condition of the product once it leaves our possession.

Any fresh fruit product should be placed in cold storage and should be consumed within the initial 24 hours of delivery.

Our responsibility and performance in completing this agreement is contingent upon causes out of our control including but not limited to: labor disputes or strikes, accidents, natural disasters, and inclement weather.
